BASTILLE - OVERJOYED.

Apologies for not posting the last couple of days, I've been feeling abit under the weather. Yesterday I was at the dental hospital getting treatment for a root canal, (not the nicest thing I've been through). I was there for almost 4 hours having my teeth and mouth xrayed and prodded. Now I've been left with a slightly puffy mouth and a slight pain (when I don't take pain relief).

Today I wore a very autumn/winter outfit - velvet, autumn colours. I wore a pair of burgundy, velvet shorts with a chiffon shirt. I bought the shorts about 3 years ago from Topshop and they come out every autumn/winter. They are back in our store too. They come back in dark purple, navy, black and a dark green. All colours would go with this outfit. I wore black ankle boots and a fedora. The tights that I wore are from Topshop too. They were £4. I think Topshop are one of the best places for tights.

YESTERDAY'S ENSEMBLE.

I accidentally pressed save instead of post yesterday, oops. Yesterday, I wore a lemon, lace edge jumper with a bright cobalt blue midi skirt. I will always love colour clashing, (when its done right). I also like how pastels are going to be going into autumn, so I we can still hold onto that little bit of summer that we had :). Although autumn and winter is my favourite time of year. With the skirt and jumper, I wore black ankle boots and threw on a gold necklace. The full outfit is Topshop, apart from the necklace, which is from Matalan.

FEDORA THE EXPLORER.

Sunday, funday. Today I decided to wear something that was simple but quite smart. You can't go wrong with a pair of jeans and a shirt. I chose Topshop join high waisted, skinny jeans in black with a white, sheer chiffon shirt. The jeans come in a few different colours and are £36. I wore a white vest top under the shirt so it didn't look as sheer. The faux fur shawl that I bought yesterday went really with the rest of the outfit. I'll definitely be looking to buy a black one.

TODAY'S PURCHASE.

Today I bought this gorgeous faux fur shawl. I've been looking for something like this for this upcoming season. At first it was just to wear as a collar on a winter coat, but I'm going to wear it over jumpers, cardigans, dresses, playsuits, etc. Its another autumn/winter essential. I got this one from Topshop and it costs £25.

SUMMERTIME SADNESS.

Goodbye summer, hello autumn. My favourite time of year. The moment when it begins to get cooler, the days get shorter, nights get longer, but the sun still sometimes shines first thing in the morning. I love the colour change too - when brights and pastels change to burgundy and dark greens. Also being able to layer up your outfits without turning into a hot mess.

Today, I wore a floral print shift dress from Topshop, (I tend to wear a lot of Topshop with me working for them), teamed with black opaque tights and pointed, gold trim ankle boots. The fedora that I am wearing is probably one of the best things I have ever bought. I love it and it goes with almost everything. I'd definitely say that it's an autumn/winter essential.

TODAY'S PURCHASES

I decided to treat myself after work today. I've been after a fedora hat for ages now. I absolutely love them in autumn and winter. It goes with almost everything, even something simple as skinny jeans and a printed shirt. It can make an outfit, and is perfect when you're having a bad hair day :). Mine is from topshop and costs £25.

I also bought a new lipstick. I love really dark colours for autumn and winter, especially burgundy and plum. The one I bought today is again from topshop and is 'beguiled.' Its a really close shade to mac's 'rebel.' I find that the lipstick from topshop's 'lips' range is very good for the price. It goes on really smooth and doesn't smudge or make your lips dry. All 'lips' are £8 each.

NEW BEGINNINGS

So I have decided to start a new blog from scratch. I love fashion and I love blogs about other bloggers daily outfit choices and street style. I will be posting my personal daily outfit choices, fashion essentials for the current and upcoming trends/seasons, along with top beauty picks and tips.
