NEW HURR, DON'T CURR.

Hi guys,
I'm going to start from scratch with this blog and start to post more regular. This time I promise. :)

As most of you might know I wear hairpieces instead of a sewn in weave. Ever since I was 16 (I think) I have had a sewn in weave, but it was last year I decided to try out wearing hairpieces instead. I searched everywhere that stocked hairpieces that matched my hair colour. It took me forever. My hair is ginger but can look slightly darker in certain light and also sometimes lighter too. Every ginger hairpiece I was trying wasn't matching to my fussy hair. Or the stores didn't stock a variety of hairpieces. After searching I found a website that stocked the perfect match and they had a good variety of different styles. The website is Wonderland Wigs (www.wonderlandwigs.com). The quality is amazing and the staff are so friendly and helpful. At first I ordered the wrong colour but they happily exchanged the hairpiece for me. They even helped me with choosing the correct colour match to my hair. Since my hair looks different under different light, sending them a photo wasn't the best idea so I sent them a sample of my own hair to match. Sounds weird and funny but it was the best way to find a match :).The colour that all my hairpieces are in is ginger (27s). It's a perfect match to my hair.

I'm wearing the 3/4 layered flicked hairpiece in the image above. I love it. The hairpieces last forever, especially if you take good care of them. I recommend if you do buy any, that you also buy the products and tools to take care of it. It will last even longer if you do.

I recently just bought a straight ponytail and two 3/4 layered flicked hairpieces. The one above is the 3/4 layered flicked hairpiece and as you can see it already has hair grips around the top and bottom of the lace cap. However I still wear mine with a few extra bobby pins just to keep in more secure. You don't have to do this as it's quite secure without them but I fling my hair around a lot so it's just to make sure it's extra secure. They are so easy and quick to put in. I never had a bad hair day :).

I'm obsessed with big hair and couldn't live without my hairpieces. I highly recommend that you check them out.

WHAT'S IN MY MAKEUP BAG - WINTER ESSENTIALS.

I have been feeling a little bit under the weather so haven't been able to blog lately. But I am feeling a million times better and I'm back. As well as being obsessed with clothes and fashion, I am obsessed with makeup. My makeup bag constantly changes but I am going to show you the products that are essential for me this winter.

I acactually bought a new makeup bag yesterday as my old one had a huuge rip in the side of it. Little did I know that my mam has bought me one for christmas. Oh well, a girl can't have enough bags, including makeup bags. Before I even apply my makeup I apply Garnier Moisture Match Illuminating Light Lotion for normal skin. Its gives the skin a natural, radiant glow. I usually just dot this across my t-zone, below my eyes and chin, then smooth down across my cheeks and temples. It smells so nice and feels so light on the skin. I use No7 Beautiful Skin BB Cream for normal/dry skin before I apply my foundation. This acts as a primer for my makeup without blocking my pores and allowing my skin still to breathe. it also acts as a perfect base for my foundation. only really use BB cream in the winter as I'm not as tanned. The BB cream has a slight tint to it so I don't look like a ghost. My number one go-to foundation is Yves Saint Laurent Teint Touche Eclat foundation in B50, which is a soft beige colour. This foundation is perfect for me. A little really does go along way. It gives complete full coverage and lasts all day. I dont always contour but when I do theother foundation that I use is MAC Prolongwear. For highlighting I use either Yves Saint
Laurent Touche Eclat Radiance highlighting pen or L'oreal Paris Lumi Magique Stylo Dee Lumiere highlighting pen, both in the medium shade. This is a makeup must have for everyone. It hides everything, including puffy eyes if you stayed up a little bit later than usual. I'm a massive expert in staying up later than I should.

During the day, I don't really wear much eye makeup. My eye makeup usually is natural looking. I tend to use the Urban Decay Naked palettes. (I borrowed them to my friend so wasn't able to blog them). The palette I use for my brows is the HD Brow kit in Foxy. I recently got HD brows done and I love them. Totally obsessed. I just use Barry M Kohl pencil in shade 1. My favourite mascara is Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effect Faux Cils Shocking mascara in black. Its the best mascara I have ever used. It gives your lashes so much volume and makes your eyelashes look thicker and fuller. Obsessed.

I will be tanning over the christmas season so I won't be looking as pale, but I will be applyibg a little blusher to add colour to my cheeks, otherwise I'd be white as a sheet. My go-to blusher at the moment is Yves Saint Laurent (yet again), Blush Radiance in shade 9, which is a really, nice pale coral colour. There is nothing worse than having a shiny face in photos and this time of year, endless photos will be taken. Therefore, powdering is essential. Just across my t-zone, nose and chin. The powder that I use is MAC Select Sheer Pressed powder in NW20. I swear by my highlighting pen and always apply a little bit above my cheek bones, to give me that slight glow.

My lipstick changes with whatever outfit I wear that day. This time of year I tend to go for burgundys, reds, plums and browns.

So there it is, my winter essentials. There is a slight chance that I might not post tomorrow as its christmas day. But I hope you all have a lush day and get spoilt rotten. Merry christmas everyone.

AINT LAURENT WITHOUT YVES.

Its that time when my makeup decides to run out, all at the same time.

I'm obsessed with makeup. One of my favourite brands is Yves Saint Laurent. Not only is the product amazing, but the packaging is so gorgeous and premium looking. I also find that YSL makeup smells so good.

I wear 'Effect Faux Cils Shocking Indecent Volume' mascara. I goes on amazing with no clumps and with one stroke of the brush, your lashes look thicker and full of volume. The mascara doesn't smudge and lasts for ages. I'll post before and after photos of me wearing the mascara tomorrow.

I bought 'Blush Radiance' in shade 9. It looks quite pinky in the palette but it goes on as a light coral. It goes on so beautiful and lasts all day. I put it on first thing in the morning and don't have to do any touch ups. Same goes for the mascara. I would recommend both products. In fact, I would recommend the brand overall. I wear 'Le Teint Touche Éclat' foundation and use the 'Touche Éclat Radiant Touch' highlighting pen too.

BASTILLE - OVERJOYED.

Apologies for not posting the last couple of days, I've been feeling abit under the weather. Yesterday I was at the dental hospital getting treatment for a root canal, (not the nicest thing I've been through). I was there for almost 4 hours having my teeth and mouth xrayed and prodded. Now I've been left with a slightly puffy mouth and a slight pain (when I don't take pain relief).

Today I wore a very autumn/winter outfit - velvet, autumn colours. I wore a pair of burgundy, velvet shorts with a chiffon shirt. I bought the shorts about 3 years ago from Topshop and they come out every autumn/winter. They are back in our store too. They come back in dark purple, navy, black and a dark green. All colours would go with this outfit. I wore black ankle boots and a fedora. The tights that I wore are from Topshop too. They were £4. I think Topshop are one of the best places for tights.

YESTERDAY'S ENSEMBLE.

I accidentally pressed save instead of post yesterday, oops. Yesterday, I wore a lemon, lace edge jumper with a bright cobalt blue midi skirt. I will always love colour clashing, (when its done right). I also like how pastels are going to be going into autumn, so I we can still hold onto that little bit of summer that we had :). Although autumn and winter is my favourite time of year. With the skirt and jumper, I wore black ankle boots and threw on a gold necklace. The full outfit is Topshop, apart from the necklace, which is from Matalan.

FEDORA THE EXPLORER.

Sunday, funday. Today I decided to wear something that was simple but quite smart. You can't go wrong with a pair of jeans and a shirt. I chose Topshop join high waisted, skinny jeans in black with a white, sheer chiffon shirt. The jeans come in a few different colours and are £36. I wore a white vest top under the shirt so it didn't look as sheer. The faux fur shawl that I bought yesterday went really with the rest of the outfit. I'll definitely be looking to buy a black one.
